Data licenses and notices
Our directory includes place data from the Overture Maps Foundation. Source data helps describe a place; business registration, professional licenses and Loppee verification are assessed separately.
Overture Places
Overture's published source acknowledgements list Meta, Microsoft, PinMeTo, Krick, RenderSEO, DAC and BrightQuery under CDLA-Permissive 2.0; Foursquare under Apache License 2.0 with its publisher NOTICE; and AllThePlaces under CC0 1.0. These are acknowledgements for the theme and do not assign a contributor to an individual listing.
Historical imports retained source identifiers but did not retain every contributor or the original release. This page provides the publisher notices checked on October 8, 2026; it does not establish the original notice or release for an individual record.
Changes made by Loppee
Loppee normalizes place names, addresses, phone numbers and websites, maps source categories, and deduplicates matching records. Listing and review information added by Loppee is separate from the source place data.
Overture reports that Foursquare data was transformed to the Overture schema. Its attribution page credits © 2024 Foursquare Labs, Inc.; the current Foursquare publisher NOTICE below credits © 2026 Foursquare Labs, Inc. Both source acknowledgements are preserved without assigning a release to historical records.
