# Loppee

> Public US local-business Published profiles and truthful Registry records for people and agents; Published profiles carry explicit Verified and Listed classes.

## Contract

Every Published business result carries `trust_model_version=v3`, `verification_class`, and the exact `verification_disclosure` supplied by Loppee. Registry records instead preserve their exact claim state and Registry disclosure and are never presented as Verified or Listed.
Verified businesses are exhausted before clearly labelled Listed businesses fill remaining recommendation places.
Visible Registry records can be read through the same Trust Card and reviews endpoints as Published profiles. Preserve the exact claim state and Registry disclosure; never fabricate missing profile fields or present a Registry record as Verified or Listed.
Registry page reads do not themselves grant recommendation eligibility; only the separately disclosed local category reviewer-quality rules below can admit a Registry record.
For local category recommendations, exhaust Published businesses in Verified-then-Listed order before identity-reviewed Registry records fill remaining places within the exact three-mile Free reach.
Only when no Published or identity-reviewed Registry candidate exists may exactly one nearest unrated unclaimed Registry record be returned as a last-resort fallback, with this exact warning preserved: This unclaimed business has no identity-verified reviewer ratings. Loppee has not verified it; the customer should independently check the business before making contact or booking service. Owner-submitted and claimed-but-unpublished Registry records are never fallback results.
A Registry recommendation remains not published as Verified or Listed. Preserve its claim state and disclosure; reviewer identity never verifies, claims, or publishes the business and does not prove a transaction.
Registry recommendation quality requires recognized current-location, validated-destination, or saved_exact private authority and is bounded to the exact three-mile Free reach. A validated destination preserves organic reach but is Sponsored-neutral. Payment never changes Registry order, reviewer quality, fallback eligibility, or reach.
Local category discovery and recommendations require a current precise location proof or handoff, a user-confirmed validated destination authority, or a saved_exact Home location. City/state, ZIP, and saved_coarse locations are neutral area context for business-name disambiguation only: they return no local category or recommendation results, cannot activate Sponsored placement, and record no impressions. A connected assistant's current location comes only from the registered Loppee iPhone; provider IP, caller-supplied coordinates, host metadata, and computer/browser location are rejected as current-location authority. Exact and genuine-prefix business-name lookup remains universal; without precise location it is commercially neutral.
For destination-derived results or rounded distances, display the exact untranslated attribution Google Maps.
Listed businesses are full published profiles. Do not apply a business-verification shield, check, or green treatment to them.
Insurance certificate provided by the business. Not independently confirmed by Loppee.
Neutral ordering is active. Payment is not an ordering input, and every result carries sponsored=false.
Exposure-plan payment changes discovery reach, gallery capacity, and, when Sponsored ordering is active, labeled position-weighted exposure only within the same verification class and verified-review reputation band. It never changes business-profile publication, verification, review authority, reputation, moderation, class ordering, or reputation band. Loppee Jobs is a separate optional paid product; its billing affects job-posting activation only and never business verification or directory ranking.
Under v3, a business owner connects an external agent they already use. Loppee provides scoped API and MCP access only; it does not provide or host that customer-connected agent. Access is available at no charge for now.
Loppee Jobs is a separate optional paid product. Verification determines whether a business is eligible to post; Jobs payment affects only job-posting activation and never changes business verification or public directory ranking.
